‘Unfortunately, when the economy is on a downward spiral, the first thing to go – and by that I mean the first thing people will stop spending on – is their personal growth unfortunately”
That’s what someone said to me at the beginning of 2020 when I’d just launched this arm of my business.
Firstly – thanks for the seed that could have had a disastrous impact on my results – had I been easily influenced by other people’s options.
Secondly, the work I do isn’t about ‘personal growth’ – it’s about transforming the life that you live so dramatically that people close to you end up wanting to learn how you did it so they can do the same.
And thirdly, that was the same year as I earned over $300k in my first 6 months. From $-55 (yes, minus).
What I’m sharing with you in this little story however, is not about ‘Yey – me!’ – it’s this –
what other people ‘believe’ has absolutely nothing to do with you, your results, or your life.
So stop asking for other people’s opinions (although in this situation, I had not asked for an opinion – it was freely given under some bizarre guise of being supportive).
Let’s carry on with the story.
Fast forward 3 years.
2023.
I had already worked with so many clients who had achieved extraordinary results.
By now, I was in a high-level ‘Mastermind’ with other highly successful entrepreneurs. All who believed that hard work and hustle was the name of the game.
I mentioned that due to the extraordinary results my clients were obtaining – all 10Xing an area of their life (not always money, but frequently a by-product) – I was increasing the investment in my private client arena (1:1 work) to a 6-figure investment.
One person said “Hmmmm…. people don’t pay those kind of prices unfortunately”
Errr… unfortunately for YOU yes.
Because beliefs are self-fulfilling prophecies.
But I think differently.
I have spent 4 decades becoming a category of one – becoming so unique in my expertise, my experience, my research, my extensive and deep study into my craft, in my personal experiential application of everything I’ve learned, in achieving crazily ‘unrealistic’ goals, and in proving that I can help others do the same.
So yes, when clients invest at 6-figures, they are compressing 40+ years into 24 weeks. I’ve done all the work so they don’t have to.
Show me one person who doesn’t want a fast-track ticket, and I’ll show you millions that do.
This isn’t about inflating your prices at the expense of your clients – absolutely not.
This is about knowing deep in your psyche, with pure integrity, that you provide more in value than anyone pays in money.
So you see, building your business isn’t about what anyone else thinks, believes, or has an opinion about.
What ‘they’ think has absolutely nothing to do with you, your business, your results, your wealth, your pricing, or your life.
YOU are the only creator of your results.
So if your current results, business model, pricing models, services, offers, income, time don’t suit you, then there’s one simple thing to change:
You.
I say simple, because although it’s not easy at the start – it is simple. Like everything is – when you know how.
So stop asking people what they think you should do.
It doesn’t matter what they think you should do – the only guidance you need is your own intuition.

Next time someone gives you an opinion that you didn’t even ask for, pause and ask yourself: “Is this person living the life I want?” If the answer is no, then their opinion is not relevant to you.
Reject.
There’s an entirely different way to think about pricing, about money, income and wealth. One that has nothing to do with strategy and everything to do with value, identity, positioning, and power. It’s the reason some people command £100K+ with deep conviction and knowing—
And others keep discounting what’s already priceless.
